Anavelle Aguada, RDA
Anavelle is a Registered Dental Assistant. She received her Dental Assisting education from the University of Texas Dental Branch in 2008. Anavelle's first experience in dentistry was in pediatrics in Katy, TX. She continues to work with many of our young patients in general and orthodontic dentistry. She is also certified in Nitrous Oxide monitoring and CPR/BLS training. Anavelle has continued to expand her dental knowledge each year by taking CE courses. Anavelle is also bilingual and has been a great addition to helping our Spanish speaking patients.
Ashley Winstead, RDH
Ashley is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Blinn College with an Associates Degree in Applied Science in 2002. Ashley has 8 years experience in the dental field. She is certified in CPR/BLS training and Nitrous Oxide monitoring. Ashley joined Sealy Dental Center in 2009 as our hygiene department began to expand. Ashley is also trained in the ZOOM whitening system. She continues to expand her skills by learning and implementing new techniques to provide care to her patients.
Bobbie Jo Novicke, RDH
Bobbie Jo is our Dental Hygiene Team Leader. She graduated from Wharton County Junior College in 1990 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science. She has worked in the dental field for 20 years and as a Registered Dental Hygienist for 16 years. Bobbie Jo is experienced in many aspects of the dental office which included general, orthodontic and pediatric dentistry. The first four years of her career were spent working as a dental assistant in Katy, TX. Bobbie Jo joined the Sealy Dental Center Team in the fall of 1996 as a Register Dental Hygienist. Since then she has been nominated for or received the honor of Austin County's Best Dental Hygienist several times. Bobbie Jo is also certified in CPR/BLS training. Bobbie Jo continues to further her knowledge every year by maintaining at least 12 hours of CE courses. She also stays at the Front of advancements in dental hygiene to provide the best quality dental care available to all her patients.
Brittany Longo, RDA
Brittany is a Registered Dental Assistant who assists in our general dentistry as well as our orthodontics department. Brittany holds certification in CPR and BLS training. She is a 2007 graduate of Sealy High School. She joined our team in January 2010. Brittany is currently attending a Nitrous Oxide monitoring certification course. Brittany is also a 2009 graduate of the Mark Mann Dental Assisting School. Brittany also has certification in Early Childhood Development and is great with our Pediatric patients.
Erin Wernecke, RDA
Erin is a Registered Dental Assistant who serves as our office Treatment Coordinator. Erin joined Sealy Dental Center in 2003. She has been a team leader for 2 years in the Dental Assisting department. Erin is certified in CPR/BLS training, Nitrous Oxide Monitoring, Radiology and DOCS sedation monitoring. Erin is also certified in Lumineers (cosmetic) Design. Erin is a patient care provider in our Oral surgery Department assuring that these sedation patients get the best possible TLC. In her role as Treatment Coordinator, Erin helps patients to understand needed dental treatment recommended by the dentist and helps to guide them through the treatment process. Erin maintains her level of excellence by attending CE courses each year.
Gabrielle Zboril
Gabrielle Zboril is the business manager for Sealy Dental Center. She is a 1975 graduate of the Regional Technical College of Carlow, Ireland where she studied business and marketing. Gabrielle has worked in and owned several successful businesses and has been involved in the dental field for many years. Her focus is on patient care and satisfaction in addition to everyday operations of the business.
Heather Ramsey, RDA
Heather is a Registered Dental Assistant. Heather joined Sealy Dental Center in 2005. She began in our office as a dental hygiene assistant. As she became more experienced she started assisting in the dental department. Heather is certification in Nitrous Oxide monitoring, CPR/BLS training and DOCS sedation monitoring. Heather specializes in assisting with our IV sedation patients providing them with the highest quality of care, earning her Austin County's Best of the Best award this year. Heather continues her education each year by attending CE courses.
Kay Krampitz
Kay is our office bookkeeper. She received her Bachelor?s of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Texas A & M University in 1985. Kay joined Sealy Dental Center in May 2011 and is responsible for the staff payroll and accounts payable.
Kristy Knapp, RDA
Kristy is a Registered Dental Assistant in our dental department. She is a 1999 Medical Assistant graduate of Education America-Houston. Kristy assists our General Dentist as well as our Oral Surgeon. Kristy joined Sealy Dental Center in 2009 after 5 years of Medical assisting. Kristy is certified in CPR/BLS training and Nitrous Oxide monitoring. Kristy maintains her education by attending at least 6 hours of CE each year.
Lanette Meredith
Lanette works in our Insurance Department. She specializes in insurance verification, claims processing and pre-treatment estimates. Lanette is a 1994 graduate of Sealy High School. She also has 12 years experience in insurance processing.
Lauren Michalke, RDA
Lauren is a Registered Dental Assistant. She is a 2009 graduate of Blinn College with a degree in General Studies with an emphasis in early childhood development. She is wonderful with our pediatric patients. She serves as an assistant in the hygiene department & has been with the practice since 2010. Lauren holds a Nitrous Oxide monitoring certification. She is also CPR/BLS certified and continues to further her education through CE courses throughout the year.
Laura Mendoza, RDA
Laura is a Registered Dental Assistant in our general dentistry department. She graduated from Rice High School in 2004 and continued her education at Wharton County Junior College. She then received her certification in dental assisting in 2011. Laura joined our team in February 2011. She holds certification in CPR/AED training and Nitrous Oxide monitoring. Laura will continue her education by attending CE courses yearly.
Maria Torres
Maria joined our practice in 2009 as a receptionist and appointment secretary. She is a 2003 graduate of Royal High School and a 2005 graduate of Houston Community College. Maria is continuing her education by attending a Communications course at the Texas Dental Association meeting in San Antonio. She is CPR certified. Maria is bilingual and assists our Spanish speaking patients with scheduling and processing. Recently Maria has begun to cross train in insurance verification.
Marilyn Fuentes, RDA
Marilyn is a Registered Dental Assistant who assists in our Dental Hygiene department. Marilyn is certified in CPR/BLS and Nitrous Oxide monitoring. Marilyn is a 2007 graduate of Sealy High School.
She joined Sealy Dental Center in February 2009. Marilyn is bilingual and very helpful in guiding our Spanish speaking patients through their dental treatment needs.
Meranda Marek, RDA
Meranda has 10 years experience as a Registered Dental Assistant. She graduated from the Academy of Healthcare Professions in 2000. Meranda joined Sealy Dental Center in 2008 as a general dental assistant, she also specializes in orthodontics and endodontics (root canals). Meranda has a certification in CPR/BLS training and Nitrous Oxide monitoring. Meranda also assists with our New patients when they join our practice by taking all x-rays and medical history uptake.
Pamela Hernandez
Pamela works in our Business Department. She is a 2002 graduate of Mayde Creek High School. Pamela has 10 years experience in the dental field. She joined Sealy Dental Center in 2008 as a treatment plan coordinator. Pamela is bilingual and is a great help to our Spanish speaking patients when explaining needed dental treatment. Pamela is certified in CPR. Pamela also helps our patients obtain financial aid and file insurance claims.
Pamela Stutler
Pamela is our office business manager. She relocated to Texas from Northern California with 37 years experience in the dental field including management consulting. Pamela received her Associate?s Degree from Foothill College. She is also a Registered Dental Assistant with certification in coronal polishing.
Raney Greener, RDA
Raney has been a registered Dental Assistant for 17 years. She came to Sealy Dental Center in 2000. Raney has received Dental Assistant of the year several times in the Austin County Best of the Best Awards. She is also our Dental Assistant Team Leader. Raney is certified in Nitrous Oxide monitoring, CPR/BLS training, DOCS sedation monitoring and Lumineer (cosmetic) Design. Raney maintains her high level of experience in general, orthodontic, pediatric and sedation dentistry by attending CE course every year.
Shelby Brune, RDA
Shelby joined the practice in August 2011 as a Registered Dental Assistant. She is a 2010 graduate of Sealy High School and attended Basic Dental Assisting Options in La Grange. She is certified in CPR/BLS and Nitrous Oxide patient monitoring. Shelby works as an assistant to the general dentist. Shelby is continuing her education in office and by attending dental training courses through the Texas Dental Association.
Susie Shupak
Susie has been with our office for 21 years. Susie is experienced in treatment planning, insurance coordination, scheduling, and is CPR certified. She is dedicated to making sure that our patients are able to maximize their insurance benefits and help make their dental treatment affordable. Susie is DOCS certified and works with our patients to insure that their sedation experience is as comfortable as possible. She also works with our oral surgeons to help our patients with their oral surgery needs and is our office liaison to other medical professionals when consultations are needed prior to receiving dental treatment.
Tammy Utter
Tammy is our insurance Coordinator and Technical Support. She has 6 years experience in the dental field. Tammy joined Sealy Dental Center in 2008. Tammy received an Associates Degree in Applied Science from Blinn College in 1999 and her Bachelors of Science Degree from Sam Houston State in 2001. Tammy verifies and enters all insurance information for our patients. She also uses her extensive computer knowledge to keep our office technology up to date, including our digital x-ray units and intra-oral cameras. Tammy continues to expand her skills by attending insurance training seminars.
Tennille Vincent
Tennille is our Hygiene Department Coordinator. She is the happy voice you hear when making an appointment for our dental checkup. Tennille joined the Sealy Dental Center team in 2003. She is certified in CPR and DOCS sedation monitoring. Tennille is trained in insurance verification and treatment plan prioritizing. Tennille has worked in the assisting department as well giving her a broader understanding of dental needs when developing a treatment plan for the treatment coordinators to present. CE is not required, however, Tennille has chosen to attend to expand her knowledge in the dental field.
Therese Hagen
Therese Hagen is our senior scheduling coordinator. She is also our patient concierge. Therese is a 1980 graduate of Blinn College. She joined Sealy Dental Center in 2006. Therese is also CPR certified and continues to expand her dental knowledge by attending continuing education courses yearly. Therese is the first smile you will see when entering our office. She always takes great care of our patients and their families when they accompany them to appointments.
Traci Brast, RDH
Traci is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Texas A & M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2008. Traci then went on to Wharton County Junior College where she received an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2010. Traci began working at Sealy Dental Center in 2011. She is certified in CPR/BLS training and continues to further her knowledge through yearly CE courses in order to provide patients with the utmost care.
